Involvement of the central nervous system in patient with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy: a case report

چکیده
Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is an uncommon disease characterized by heterogeneous clinical findings, absence of specific laboratory markers and good response to treatment. Typically CIDP manifests as weakness varying severity, from minimal paresis plegia, well symmetrical loss sensitivity in all limbs, a distinctive feature CDL the involvement both proximal distal parts extremities. At same time, there large number atypical variants, clinically similar other chronic disimmune neuropathies. Neuroimaging findings typically include cauda equina, brachial, lumbar plexus. The patient sought medical help complaining sensation This case illustrates combined cranial spinal nerves, cord brain with polyneuropathy.

Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is a chronic disorder, manifesting with monophasic or relapsing course. Progressive course is rare in children. In a consecutive series of 30 patients with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) minor clinical evidence of CNS involvement was found in five. Cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was performed in 28 and revealed abnormalities consistent with demyelination in nine patients aged less than 50 years and abnormalities in five aged 50 years or over. Measurements of central mo...

Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy is an autoimmune disease with progressive and relapsing courses. The main clinical presentations are diffuse deep tendon hyporeflexia or areflexia and symmetric proximal-distal muscles weakness. Myasthenia gravis is also an immune mediated disease with fluctuating ocular and bulbar symptoms and sometimes weakness. Although both myasthenia grav...

Adenosine deaminase deficiency is a type of severe combined immunodeficiency that involves about 15% of all SCID cases. This form of SCID has low B cells, T cells, and NK cells. This condition is complex with many possible complications including neurological abnormalities. Guillainbarré syndrome is an acute inflammatory disease of the peripheral nerves that involves an autoimmune attack on mye...
